Stage Skills Workshop
The Stage Skills Workshop is a pool session designed to show experienced divers who have already mastered trim and propulsion the basics of diving with a stage for the first time. At your instructor's discretion, this session can count as the pre-assessment for the PADI Self Reliant Diver course.
The stage skills workshop is a great way to feel what it is like to wear a stage for the first time. Many divers feel that a stage will pull them to one side when they carry it. With correct stage rigging and positioning we will show you that this is not the case.
For those of you already qualified to use a stage from a technical or rebreather course, this session can be tailored to you. Our Technical Instructor will tailor this session to your needs and requirements. From ideas about boltsnap selection for best rigging, to d-ring adjustment, stage rigging solutions and muscle memory drills that will help even the most seasoned divers, we are here to help!
Our Instructors will also explain the steps and processes involved in safe gas switching to ensure that you move from one gas to the other safely.
