PADI Master Seal Team
The PADI Master Seal Team is part two of the PADI Seal Team program. It’s perfect for young divers looking for more action, as it’s full of fun Specialty Missions!
The PADI Seal Team Specialty Missions consist of a series of 10 sessions, each with a different focus – underwater photography, inner-space and night diver being personal favourites! The specialty missions give children an opportunity to explore more specialised dive techniques. They will also continue to build on their fundamental skills and keeping the learning experience fresh and exciting. Sessions take place on the first or second Saturday of every month from 12:00-2:00, and are booked individually thus may be conducted at any pace which suits you. Each specialist AquaMission is £30. Furthermore, the full series of 10 missions can be block-booked at a discounted rate.
What will I do?
The list of Specialty AquaMissions includes:
Creature ID Specialist
Inner Space Specialist
Search and Recovery Specialist
Skin Diver Specialist
Completion of all 10 Specialty AquaMissions earns the student the PADI Master Seal Team membership – accompanied by its own recognition card and certificate.
What scuba gear will I use?
Children use all the basic scuba gear, but specifically sized for their age and stature. Subsequently, this means smaller mouthpieces, jackets, fins, wetsuits and cylinders.
What are the prerequisites for this course?
A child must be 8 years old and be a qualified PADI Seal Team member. As you will already know by now, scuba diving and the use of scuba equipment without proper supervision or instruction can result in serious injury or death. They must be instructed in its use under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor. Please answer the following questions in the link below on their past and present medical history. These require a YES or NO – if you are not sure, answer YES. If any of these items apply to you, we must request that you consult with a doctor prior to your scuba diving experience.
Let us know if you answer YES and we will supply you with a PADI Medical Statement and Guidelines for Recreational Scuba Diver’s Physical Examination to take to your doctor.
Please Note: Kids will NOT be able to participate in this program without confirming their fitness to dive through the above documents.
