Dive Against Debris

Scuba Leeds are a 100% AWARE dive centre, so we are donning our fins to make a stand against debris. Join our team and grab a mesh bags to remove any debris we can find in the water. Every piece of trash we remove will be documented and the results submitted to Project AWARE. These dives do make a genuine impact on the health of our oceans.

UK diving has some amazing and varied dive sites which are accessible from the shore – no boat fees, no entry fees. Our debris shore dives are proving to be very popular, with a chance to get out of the quarries and into the sea, while also contributing to cleaning our oceans and coastlines. If you have never completed a shore dive in the UK, come and gain some experience with an Instructor or Divemaster around to assist and offer advice.

So join us for a Dive Against Debris shore dive and a beach clean up to really make an impact above and below the water. It really is a great feeling making a real difference to our ocean and the local wildlife.

Our next planned shore debris dive are at:

• Brown’s Bay, Whitley Bay – 14th April 2019

• North Landings, Flamborough – 16th June 2019
