Where can you see Sharks & Elephants?
  1. We have been asked by a couple of people about running a dive trip to South Africa. A number of our team have been on trips out here in the past. This included both diving with the sharks and marine life and an optional land based safari.
The trip flew into Durban and we transferred down to Umkomass. We based ourselves at Scuba Addicts, they have fantastic staff and boats. They are a short drive from the launch site for Aliwal Shoal, which is one of the most well known areas for diving in South Africa and is known for its raggie toothed, tigers, oceanic blacktips, silkies and so many more sharks! Check out video out of their shark dive. https://youtu.be/zRXIFF8OfLo One of the great things about this trip was that the group also made a land based excursion to go on safari. Unfortunatley we don’t have any video of that specific safari, however we have got video of this stunning early morning drive that Alex Varnals made during a trip he made to South Africa in 2011. All the videos were shot on location in the Waterside Lodge, Thornybush Collection. Alex was lucky enough to find Lions and Elephants on this drive. https://youtu.be/42BEUQLUyqs All of this can be included in a package for you to experience South Africa. So we are looking at building a trip to take in the best that South Africa has to offer, from shark diving to a wild safari. If you would like to join us on a South African adventure, please let us know and we will get you some more details.
